The Flow of songwriting

Picture
Join me at Southwest Flow Fest for "The Flow of Songwriting" workshop:
A process-oriented, earth-rooted, and heart-centric exploration of the creative songwriting process.

The process of writing and singing your song is a gift to your deepest self. Entering into this flow has the power to transform us, bringing us into greater resonance with ourselves and the world.

Open to all levels; no experience required. Whether you are a seasoned songwriter looking for a new approach to try on, or a curious creator who doesn't self-identify as a musician.... Here is what you can expect:
  • A safe, welcoming, and non-judgemental container for exploring voice, song, and writing from the heart.
  • A focus on how writing songs is a transformational process; an activity and practice that brings you closer to your own truth.
  • Tools, practices and a foundational process to help you get into songwriting/singing flow state; create songs that are potent & heartfelt; and offer them to yourself & your community in a meaningful way
  • A ritual container in which you can experience and embody your song expression.

Like all Wild Wayfarer offerings, this workshop takes you on a journey through the creative rhythm of nature, which is reflected in our own human experience.

Voice flow is also a practice that enlivens our ability to speak our truth, express from the heart, and be a voice to the voiceless. In this workshop, we will journey through an earth-rooted rhythm of songwriting practice used in WIld Wayfarer programs that ignites inspiration, fuels our creative fire, unlocks the true voice, and distills our art into something potent and meaningful.

Earth Rhythm Celebration Series

Join us on each Solstice & Equinox for a gathering of music & seasonal attunement with Wild Wayfarer and Sleep Stampede.

Each event is a curated journey that brings together
music, ritual, and heartfelt community connection.

Jacqueline Marie (of Wild Wayfarer) and John Everett Ford are the two humans behind the dream folk band called Sleep Stampede. They are usually covered in dirt, and are quite fond over morning songwriting over pancakes & coffee. Their sound & songwriting style has been described as "that good feeling you get after a long day out in the mountains." Over the years that they have been writing songs as a duo group, they have found their niche in offering intimate acoustic shows with in beautiful & wild places.

Stay up to date with other Sleep Stampede happenings, events, and recordings:
