About Me
Jacqueline Thompson
Board Certified Holistic Sexologist • 5-Element Tibetan Tantra Practitioner • Earth-Based Ritual Artist & Ceremonialist • Grief Ritual Leader • Wilderness Rites of Passage Guide
I am devoted to the path making holy the forbidden and forgotten places of our humanness in service of helping myself and others become a little bit more whole, real, and rewoven into the web of life. I do this through my work with the Erotic, the art of Ritual, and tending Grief in these times of collective unravelling and uncertainty.
I believe that we are not just connected with Nature; we are nature. Every program I offer is crafted with this in mind. Our deepest healing can be found in our embodied belonging to Earth, just as Nature’s healing can be found in us humans recognizing that what we do to her, we do to ourselves.
I also believe that the Erotic is an antidote to many of the challenges of our times (individually and as a culture), and a path toward living the fullest and most honest lives we can live. Contrary to pop narratives—which portray “erotic” as pornographic and purely sexual—Eros is our capacity to touch and be touched by the world around us; our ability to be in direct relationship with this experience of life. It lives in the unbound expression of our creations, a force that drives life itself forward, in an ever-diversifying dance of creation and erosion.
I believe that our relationship with Eros, grief, and the Wild is what encourages us to turn toward life, dance with it, and respond to our experiences and these collective times from a place of authenticity. In a consumer culture of individualism where so many of us struggle with isolation, distraction, overstimulation, disconnection, numbness and depletion... these relationships are our medicine.

Education & Trainings
I am a long-time student of rites of passage, Soulcraft, Wild Mind, the deep imagination, heart council and dreamwork through the Animas Valley Institute. I am forever grateful for the many guides who have led me through vision fasts and countless life-changing encounters in the wild.
I studied with Kate Joyner of Dancing Serpent Mystery School, Erica Rhinehart of the Moon Path, and Amanda Verdery Young of Wild Becoming, who have all profoundly influenced my embodiment of Eros and the inner Feminine.
My greatest inspirations and teachers-through-text on all things nature, plants, soul & wildness include (but are not limited to): Joanna Macy, Bill Ploktin, Mary Oliver, Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Martin Prechtel, Thomas Berry, Francis Weller, Michael Meade, and Stephen Buhner.
My greatest inspirations and teachers-through-text on all things sexuality, Eros and Tantra include (but are not limited to): Esther Perel, Andreas Weber, Audrey Lorde, Sheri Winston, Katie Silcox, Kasia Urbaniak, and Devi Ward Erickson.
