Pleasure Liberation:

A Threshold Crossing into Sensual Sovereignty

May 21-27, 2026 | Durango , CO

A 6-Day Wilderness Rite of Passage for those ready to step out of inherited patterns of shame, numbness, or self-abandonment—and claim a grounded, sovereign relationship with their sensual and sexual self.

There comes a point when incremental change and healing through therapy, workshops, insight and self-awareness are no longer sufficient.

There needs to be a deeper reclamation.

A transformation from the inside out.

A realignment of values.

This is a ceremony that marks the culmination of your personal pleasure liberation and erotic reclamation journey, or initiates the beginning of it.

Participants often arrive carrying:

  • Inherited sexual shame that lingers in the nervous system

  • Cycles of self-abandonment in intimacy

  • A quiet disconnection from their own longing

  • Numbness disguised as competence

  • A sense of being powerful in public but fragmented in private

  • Exhaustion from spiritual bypassing or surface-level empowerment

If you are standing at a life edge—divorce, identity shift, sexual awakening, career transition, grief, or profound inner change—this ceremony offers structure for the crossing.

Program Start: May 21, 2026 @ 1:00pm

Program End: May 27, 2026 @ 1:00pm

The Intersection of Pleasure & Nature

Over the course of 6 days, you will join a group of like-minded individuals on a journey through your relationship with nature and sensuality into the core question:

What do I truly long for in this life? And how am I going to say yes to it?

This ceremony is about returning to the body, finding belonging to the Earth, reclaiming pleasure and sensuality on your terms, gaining clarity on your true longings and desires, and freeing your authentic, sovereign, and fully embodied self.

Why Marking a Threshold Matters.

Modern culture rarely offers structured transitions into new identities. Without ritual acknowledgment, growth can remain abstract.

Ceremony creates a line in time.

You step across with witnesses.
You return with clarity.
Your psyche registers the shift as real.

Integration ensures the experience does not remain symbolic—it becomes behavioral.

A vision fast is a contemporary expression of an ancient, cross-cultural wilderness rite of passage. It follows a deliberate ceremonial arc:

  1. Preparation – clarifying intention, strengthening internal and communal safety

  2. Separation – stepping away from daily roles, devices, and routines

  3. Liminal Solo Time – 24 hours alone in a designated wilderness site

  4. Return & Integration – witnessed storytelling and embodied integration

During the 24-hour solo period, the invitation is to set down devices, ingrained habits, and to take rest from human company and substances, which may include food, if you choose.

Rather than an experience of deprivation, the intention of this fasting is to clear a potent space for what wants to be let go of and what wants to manifest in your journey of Pleasure Liberation.

The Orientation of Pleasure Liberation

While mainstream pleasure practices focuses on chasing pleasure, Pleasure Liberation honors and acknowledges that it is in our grief that we are able to access our authentic love, joy and pleasure.

It is not indulgence.
It is not performance.
It is not hypersexuality.

It is the process of increasing our capacity to truly meet life.

It is tending our ability to:

  • Meet our grief without collapsing

  • Feel our desire without shame

  • Hold our boundaries without apology

  • Experience our pleasure without dissociation

  • Anchor our eros in integrity & values

The Pleasure Liberation Method

  1. Belonging: We begin by building our foundation and remembering that we are an extension of earth. Systems of oppression that say that we are separate and small; in this stage, we clear that belief and remember that we belong. Here, we awaken to the possibility that Earth also longs for our being, and is our greatest resource for support.

  1. Worthiness. We are inherently worthy of pleasure, connection, and love. In this stage, we dismantle the belief that we are undeserving of rest, reclamation, pleasure, and taking up space. We remember pleasure as a birthright.

  2. Grief Alchemy. In this stage, we alchemize anger, sorrow and grief through ritual (solo, 1:1, or communal). This stage is the most challenging and confronting– but also the most important. Here, we lean into the importance of healing through letting ourselves feel and process the grief held in our lives, our ancestry, and the collective.

  3. Pleasure. Here, we increase our capacity to receive pleasure. In this stage, we begin by connecting with the pleasure that is already present in your life, your body, and the earth. Then, we clear blocks to pleasure. It is time to expand what you thought was possible, and discover your unique pleasure landscape.

  4. Desire. This is not about being desirable; it is about strengthening your relationship with your own desires and longings. This isn't about getting everything you want, nor is it about endlessly chasing your desires, only to find yourself on a hamster wheel of dissatisfaction. It is about seeing desire as a roadmap to the biggest version of ourselves. It is about our relationship with desire itself, allowing the inquiry to guide us beyond surface-level wants and into the river of our deepest longings in this life.

  5. Empowered Voice. Here, we dive into how to communicate well and ask for what we really want. We get clear on our yes and no. We look at our self-talk, and make adjustments. We acknowledge the connection between eros, expression and creativity, and give ourselves radical permission to embrace that part of ourselves.

  6. Sensuality. On one level, our sensuality is our capacity to really receive the world through our sensory pathways. However, on a deeper level, our sensuality is also our capacity to be in a reciprocal relationship with our sensory experience. It is to not only receive sensation, but to respond to it in an embodied conversation with the world that we are in contact with. This is how it becomes truly erotic: to honor our relationship with life because when we are active players in our own story.

The schedule follows an arc of grounding and creating a container together to hold us in this transformational work. Over the course of the week you’ll be invited to explore embodied movement, to co-create a collective grief ritual that honors what we love & lose, and be guided to attune to the pleasure and desire we can sense in our longings. These longings and desires will orient you during your 24-hour solo time. This 24-hours forms a liminal space, a time-out-of-time, to call forth your true desires. You will be welcomed back from your solo time with a feast, shared story council to savor the experience. Finally, you will be supported in integration practices to take these insights back into daily life.

You might be feeling…

Too busy, too numb, and too overwhelmed for pleasure.

Like you have a lump in your throat or a weight on your shoulders.

Like you don’t know what you really want, let alone how to communicate those desires.

Exhausted from trying to be desirable, while neglecting your desires.

Sick of the impossibility of trying to fit within the teeny-tiny parameters of what is culturally acceptable.

Bored or un-enchanted with your life—like you’re just going through the motions.

Like you are living someone else’s live, not your own.

But here’s the thing.

You’re not too much. Your wants, needs and desires are not too much, either.

Your pleasure is indulgent or selfish. It is your capacity to be present and connected.

You are allowed to take up space.

Grief makes your strong, not weak.

You do not have to earn rest, pleasure, or joy.

You are worthy of support, self-investment, and care.

You don’t have to carry everything alone.

If you feel the call… Here is your answer.

This container is intentionally small and facilitated with precision. Each participant is must apply to ensure mutual fit.

For those prepared to meet themselves without distraction and claim their sovereign, sensual adulthood, the threshold is open.
